What is an escape room?

Its a team game ideally for 2-8 people. We lock your team in a room and the goal of the game is to escape within 60 minutes. This is achieved by completing a series of challenges which allow you to unlock the next one and eventually obtain the key for the door.

 

Why us?

We are family run, and aim to build unique, challenging and fun rooms, perfect for friends, family and co-workers. We can provide for small and large groups and are more than happy to listen to individual requests and accommodate them where we can.

I am claustrophobic, can I play?

The rooms are quite large and always remain unlocked! Please call to make sure we get you in the best room for you!

 

Is there a minimum or maximum team size?

2 as a minimum and 8 as a maximum, however we would recommend teams of 3-6 as these are the optimum numbers for the games and allow everyone to participate.

 

What should we wear when playing?

No special attire is required, whilst fancy dress is encouraged! For those who wear dresses and skirts please be aware some rooms may require you to crawl or climb!

 

I would like to play with my colleagues as a team building exercise. Is it possible?

Yes, please give us a call or email before booking as hopefully we can discount you and talk about ALL your options!

How do I travel to Clue Finders via public transport?

We have great links to public transport as we are within a 2 minute walk from Basildon Rail station which serves both Southend and London and Basildon Bus terminal, with Buses arriving

from all over Essex.

 

I am driving to Clue Finders, is parking available?

Basildon Town centre has several Car parks available with the Eastgate Shopping Centre car park being closest. However, if you are coming outside of their opening hours you will be contacted with your other options.

 

Is there much to do around your shop?

Well we are located inside of Fun Parx which is a venue hosting a lot of extremely fun different activities. They sell food and drink, but there is a food court just next door with lots of different fast food places neighbouring a whole bunch of fantastic shops! There is mini golf inside Eastgate, along with a Vue cinema just outside and Festival Leisure Park just a 5-10 minute drive away!
