We opened our doors in 2018, originally known as Escape Basildon, and has always been a true family venture. From day one, my family poured their hearts into creating exciting, memorable escape room experiences for everyone to enjoy.

I first found my passion for the industry at 15 and began designing 'Phasmophobia'. Together with my dad, Kev, they built it into what it is today. Along the way, I met my soulmate who found a passion in escape rooms also- a year later we're engaged! A huge person involved in the story of us would have to be Katy! This gorgeous lady and her two amazing children supported us through every second of the last (almost) 8 years, as a gameshost and a manager. We got to watch her kids grow up and fall in love with escape rooms too and we cannot thank her enough. This business has its own family completely and we've been so lucky to make friends for life here.

My love for designing new games and challenges only grew, and with the assistance of Jack eventually led me to take the reins completely – and that’s how Clue Finders was born!
